wedding photography, formal portraiture is seen as passé or virtually
obsolete. What people forget is that formal portraiture is as much a part
of any wedding as are the wedding gown, the flowers, the wedding cake.
When my clients look back on their wedding photos, I want them to see
groups of people who have specific meaning for them—such as
old high school friends, university buddies, cousins, neighbors,
and of course the immediate family.
I do this in a way which is both formal and candid.
